Originally from the Boston area, Geoff Eckler moved to Woodstock in 1992, after years of weekend commuting, and has been brokering real estate since 2002. He’s brokered prestigious estates, land, camps, multi-unit buildings, and the full spectrum of single-family homes. All clients appreciate his deep familiarity with the local community that he’s garnered over the years of raising a family and coaching youth sports.
As a volunteer, Geoff has held several volunteer positions on industry association and community boards, including President of the Northern New England Chapter of the National Association of Personnel Services, and VP of the Upper Valley Computer Industry Association, a local industry education, and scholarship non-profit. He has also served as the Board Chair of the Woodstock Recreation Center and was a Founding Board Member for the Union Arena Community Center, a privately funded $4.5M Ice Arena and Community Center in Woodstock, VT.
In 2016, after 23 years of coaching hockey, Geoff was excited to give back to the sport that brought him to Vermont so many years ago; Skiing. After serving as a volunteer Mountain Ambassador at Killington Resort, Geoff was recruited to become a certified National Ski Patroller. You will find Geoff doing his volunteer thing at our beloved local hill, Suicide Six Ski Area.
Geoff is also the Principal of Eckler Professional Network, a search – and – placement firm with a 30-year history of placing executives & technical staff. Accordingly, he is fully aware of the unique needs of out-of-state buyers and verses in communities beyond Woodstock. Give Geoff a call at 802-777-3584 or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
