Kathy Avellino was raised in upstate New York and attended college at Cazenovia College. The close proximity to the Adirondacks developed a strong affinity for the outdoors through outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, skiing and snowshoeing. These pursuits have given her an innate knowledge and understanding of land parcels and the importance of proper stewardship and conservation. Her work in Property Management came after working 18 years as a Certified Dental Assistant. She has been a Realtor for the past 6 years and has used the knowledge gained over her years to give expert advice to both buyers and sellers. She has a strong reputation for her sincerity and helpfulness in helping her clients reach their dream in buying or selling a home. “Going the extra mile” is often expressed by those who have worked with her.
She has lived in Woodstock for the last 21 years with her husband and young son, who has been a constant source of joy and companionship along with her two Golden Retrievers. It also has been helpful for Kathy’s real estate career to be so closely linked to the local school system and all of the extracurricular activities that the Woodstock area has to offer. Strong parental involvement is encouraged, which helps to create and maintain a strong sense of community.
