Living In Vermont

Vermont's landscape and communities are remarkably diverse. The Vermont is primarily comprised of smaller Towns and Villages with traditional Village Greens and Squares, surrounded by a rich mixture of architectural styles dating back to the 18 th century. Vermont Villages are most commonly referred to as the very traditional Currier and Ives scenery that the world associates with New England.

The Lake Champlain Valley is characterized by very wide open with exceptional farmland and expansive views to the Adirondacks; just to the east, the Green Mountain Range rises to elevations exceeding 4000’ providing dramatic climatic changes and snow capped peaks.

The Connecticut River Valley has much more rolling hills and valleys with hillside farms and mountain streams. And the Northeast Kingdom is very scenic and beautiful as rich farm country with distant views of the White Mountain Range of New Hampshire.
